Last month we were interviewed by a local television broadcaster who is interested to learn more about the new trend in travel, primarily cycling holidays.
We are so excited to be interviewed and featured and roped in 2 of our members to join in the fun.
Everyone was nervous, not too sure how we will look and sound like in front of the camera, and what questions will be asked. Luckily it is not a 'live' take, so if we ever NG ('No Good'), there is still a chance to retake.
But guess what? Everyone did it in ONE take. Guess we are all 'pros' afterall :)
Here are some pictures capturing the behind-the-scenes action.
We have shared what are the up and coming trends we have noticed among people nowadays. Most of them are looking for a balanced holiday, where they can enjoy local sights and cuisines and at the same time do something they like, be it cycling, hiking or running. It is a holiday afterall.
Most of our members lead a moderately active lifestyle and are game to try new things, just that they find it difficult to gather a group of like-minded folks. That is where we come into the picture, bringing together people with similar interests.
We also shared why a cycling holiday is one of the best way to explore a foreign country. How a cycling trip can bring you closer to the local communities as you cycle past people's home in the villages and interact with them, be it a simple "Hello" or a smile. How you can take in the sights at your own pace and enjoy the breeze in your face.
We told the journalist to give it a try, because only by trying then you will truly understand what we feel and see.
Why don't you join us the next time too? :)
