A Walk in Windsor Park

A Walk in Windsor Park

Windsor Nature Park was the first nature park we explored in Singapore to kick off our Singapore nature walk activity.

It was also the first time where we had new faces joining us because they saw our Facebook event, which was a pleasant surprise.

Recalling back, I remember the theme of the walk was “A Day in Travel Wander’s Footsteps”, which is to let people understand what we do in our line of job, what things we look out for during such activities, what safety aspects to take note of.

We were greeted with beautiful sunrays throughout the walk, all thanks to the lovely trees, for creating such beautiful natural art pieces.

Walking can get very addictive, especially when you are enjoying every moment of it. We just couldn’t stop and allowed our legs to bring us further and further in. So what started as a supposedly short walk turned into a hike eventually as we scaled up the Tree Top Walk in MacRitchie Reservoir Park!

We ended the walk with a nice local lunch at a nearby mall. It was also a good time to get to know one another a little bit more.

I didn’t join for the lunch as I had to rush off to a cousin’s wedding. That’s the beauty of morning walks in Singapore. You get to do some exercise and still have plenty of time to get on with your day :)
