Day 2 Incheon – Seoul
Get transferred to the starting location of your self-guided cycling adventure.
Set off towards the West Sea Lock Certification Centre, cycling alongside the scenic Hangang River. Here, the excitement builds as you stamp your first location into your Korean (cycling) passport, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey. From there, continue along the famed Ara Bike Path, a ‘fantastic bicycle route’ that connects Incheon to Seoul. This straight, uninterrupted path feels like a cyclist’s dream, offering a smooth, effortless ride with panoramic views of the cityscape.
As you glide along the river, the scenery unfolds—majestic bridges, towering skyscrapers, and the vibrant splash of yachts on the water create a picture-perfect urban landscape. The ride leads you towards Yeouido Park, a serene escape in the heart of the city. Just before you reach Gangnam district, pause at Sebitseom—an iconic cultural complex of three floating islands, aglow with colorful lights and perched near the Banpo Bridge, home to the mesmerizing rainbow fountain when it is lit up in the evenings. It’s the perfect blend of nature, art, and city charm, offering a peaceful yet awe-inspiring moment before continuing your adventure.

Day 3 Seoul – Gyeonggi
Today’s ride takes us to Bukhangang, the North Hangang River, a tributary that flows through both North and South Korea, offering cyclists a unique and historic perspective of the region.
Pedal past Gwangnaru Park, one of the many eco-friendly recreational spots along the Hangang River. This park is naturally shaped by rich silt carried down from the upper river, which over time transformed into reed-filled wetlands—creating a tranquil haven for migratory birds. It’s the perfect blend of nature and peaceful escape.
Our next stop takes us to the quaint and nostalgic Neung Nae Station in Joan-myeon, Namyangju-si. Though the station is no longer in use, it remains a charming piece of Korea’s railway heritage. Today, the station houses a cozy café set inside a vintage train and a bicycle rental shop. From here, we’ll cycle along the old railway tracks, winding through tunnels and crossing iron bridges, offering a scenic and sentimental journey through time as you pedal past relics of the past and the stunning landscapes that surround them.

Day 4 Gyeonggi – Gangwon
Continue cycling along the peaceful Bukhangang, where the tranquil beauty of the countryside unfolds before you. Surrounded by lush mountains, the landscape offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect setting for a leisurely ride.
Ride along the stunning Uiam Lake, a peaceful body of water nestled between the mountains. The path hugs the shoreline, offering spectacular views of the calm lake, with its crystal-clear water reflecting the surrounding peaks. The journey continues along a scenic boardwalk that stretches above the water, where you can hear the soothing sounds of the rippling lake beneath you. It’s a perfect moment to slow down, take in the fresh air, and appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.
As you cycle further, you’ll approach the MBC Broadcasting Television Station, a landmark that marks the end of today’s ride. It stands as a reminder of Korea’s vibrant media industry. Our accommodation for the night is conveniently located nearby.
