Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Jeju Island
Welcome to Jeju Island, the island paradise of South Korea. Meet and greet at 9.00 AM at Jeju International Airport.
Transfer to Jeonnong-ro Cherry Blossom Street — Jeju’s most iconic blossom tunnel, lined with 100-year-old King Cherry trees. Admire the flowers as you stroll along the street. Weather permitting, we will spend some time admiring the beautiful trees.
Visit Samsunghyeol Shrine. The shrine is one of the most important mythological and historical sites on Jeju Island. According to Jeju legend, three demigods — Go Eulna, Yang Eulna, and Bu Eulna — emerged from three holes in the ground here and became the founders of the ancient kingdom of Tamna, the precursor to modern Jeju society. The shrine’s name literally means “Three Clan Holes”. The three holes are still preserved inside a forested sacred area, arranged in the shape of the Chinese character 品. Local tradition says rainwater and snow never collect in them.
Visit Dongmun Traditional Market for street food, atmosphere, and a first taste of Jeju.

Our Jeju Olle hike starts with Route 18.
Route 18 begins at the Kim Man-duk Memorial Hall, which is located in the centre of old downtown, Jeju-si. Passing Jeju-hang, it offers a picturesque view of the sea and both Sara-bong(peak) and Byeoldo-bong(peak). An easy climb up Sarabong offers a beautiful view of the city and, on a clear day, a majestic sight of Hallasan.
The trail also passes through some of Jeju’s historical sites dating back to the Joseon Dynasty and the site of the famous April 3rd resistance. Enjoy breathtaking coastal scenery that follows Sibi-koji(cape) to Dakmoru. Walk along the black basalt coastline north through quiet farming villages to Jocheon, where Trail 18 ends.

This beautiful scenery continues on and on. From the field to the beautiful beach, from the beautiful beach to the pine-scented forest, and from the forest to the friendly village. The real Jeju lies in every way.

Starting at Gwangchigi Beach, the trail passes Siksan-bong (peak), Daesusan-bong (peak), Honinji (wedding pond) to a small beach in Onpyeong-ri. The attraction continues with a path across the field along inland waters and a peaceful mountain path.
On the top of Daesusan-bong (peak), enjoy wide views of the eastern coastline of Jeju Island. The route passes around a pond that has a special place in Jeju mythology. According to the myth, three gods (the founders of Jeju Island) brought three princesses down from heaven and married them.
