Itinerary

Day 1 Kilimanjaro – Tarangire

Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport to arrive in the morning or early afternoon (arrive latest by 2.00 pm). You will be met and transferred straight to Nimali Tarangire. Evening game drive in the private wildlife concession around the camp.

Meal: Dinner

Stay: Nimali Tarangire Lodge

Day 2 Tarangire

Spend the full day at Tarangire National Park. This park covers an area of 2,600 square kilometres with its park like country, acacia woodlands, ancient baobabs, open bush, plains, swamps and rivers and stands of palm trees. This very diverse range of vegetation attracts many animals like elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo etc. and birdlife.

Day 3 Tarangire – Ngorongoro

Depart Tarangire for Ngorongoro. Descend into the Crater for game viewing and a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a sunken cone of a volcano. It is the largest inactive, unbroken, and unflooded caldera in the world. Living on the floor of the crater are bull elephants, lions, hyena, zebra, wildebeest among others living on the grasslands and acacia forests. The crater also has a soda lake which attracts greater and lesser flamingo and other water birds. The crater is best known as a highly successful sanctuary for the endangered black rhino. The settings in which you watch the animals are beautiful, the crater is an outstanding place for photography as well as direct observation.

Later in the afternoon, drive out of the crater and on to nearby Karatu for the night.

Day 4 Ngorongoro – Manyara – Serengeti

Today, travel to Manyara for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

After lunch, board a scheduled flight to Seronera. You will be met at the airport and transported to Serengeti National Park for game viewing whilst enroute to the Nimali Central Serengeti arriving for afternoon tea.

Have a further evening game drive from camp.

Day 5 Serengeti

Leave for an early morning game drive. Mornings are a great time for watching lions in action and getting a glimpse of the endangered black rhinoceros. Come back to camp for a hot lunch and relax during the afternoon.

Head out for an evening game drive before returning to camp for cocktails and canapés as you watch the sun set. A perfect end to a perfect day, enjoying the dramatic shades of the African sunset!

Stay: Nimali Central Serengeti Camp

Day 6 Serengeti – Kilimanjaro

Breakfast at camp. Check out and transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro for your onward connections (flight departs at 10:45 AM to arrive at approximately 12:30 PM – may subject to change).

~ scheduled flights, Manyara – Seronera and Serengeti – Kilimanjaro (baggage allowance of 15 KG in soft bag, inclusive of hand luggage);

~ 5 nights accommodation;

~ Non – refundable deposit, 30% of total trip quoted value is required at the time of booking.

~ Price may subject to change at the time of booking confirmation. You will be informed if there is any price increase, and you may withdraw within 3 days of notification. As such, your deposit will be fully refunded.

~ Full or balance payment is 60 days prior to departure.

~ Should you require a visa to enter Tanzania, it is your responsibility to obtain such document before departure. Check your entry requirement and apply for your visa HERE if you require.
