Ireland Burren Clare Cycle, 8 days

Ireland Burren Clare Cycle, 8 days

Explore Ireland on a self-guided cycling trip around Country Clare. ‘Burren’ is derived from the Irish word boireann meaning ‘place of stone’, and the name could not be more apt. There is no part of Ireland where rock so obviously dominates the landscape as it does in this corner of County Clare.

It is hard to find a tour in Ireland that captures some of the finest coastal scenery, inland charms, historic monuments & dramatic landscape contrasts as those found on this Burren Cycle.

Bordered by the Shannon River to the east and south, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and Galway Bay to the north – Clare gives all the beauty and splendour found in all of Ireland – in one small area. Taking time to cycle this region will give you the greatest insight into just what it is that makes Ireland so unique.

Duration:    8 days

You need to have a spirit for adventure, independence and self-management on this self-guided trip.
