Itinerary
Singapore – Kukup – Singapore
7.00 AMÂ –Â Assemble at Marsiling MRT Station for our transfer into Johor, via private vehicle.
After breakfast (own expense), unload your bikes and get ready for a morning of cycling exploration.
Cycle through the kampung roads of Sungai Pulai. Sungai Pulai is a significant and ecologically vital area located in the southern part of the state of Johor, Malaysia. It’s not a single town, but rather a complex ecosystem centered around the Sungai Pulai river, its estuary, and the surrounding wetlands.
Continue our ride to Tanjung Piai, the “Southern Tip of Mainland Eurasia”. It is the southernmost extension of the Asian continental shelf, which is part of the Eurasian plate. Therefore, it holds the official title of the southernmost point of mainland Asia and, by extension, the entire Eurasian continental mainland.
Finish off your ride at Kukup, where you may see traditional fishing villages built entirely on stilts over the water. The entire settlement—houses, shops, restaurants, and walkways—is constructed on wooden or concrete pilings above the mangrove mudflats.
Enjoy a local seafood lunch before spending some free time exploring around Kukup on foot.
Settle in for a comfortable transfer back to Singapore as you reminisce about the day’s adventures. We aim to arrive by 7 PM (traffic conditions permitting).
