Day 1 Depart Paris (France)
Board the Venice Simplon-Orient Express train in Paris. Settle into your private cabin. Soon it will be time for dinner.
A delicious four-course dinner will be served in one of our splendid restaurant cars. After dinner, retire to your cabin which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.

Day 2 Arrive Venice (Italy)
Awake to magnificent mountain and countryside scenery as breakfast is served in your cabin. Spend the morning in the Bar Car chatting to fellow travellers over coffee.
Enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch served in another of the beautiful restaurant cars.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in your cabin admiring the spectacular scenery as the train journeys. A selection of pastries will be served in your cabin.
Soon it is time to prepare to disembark as the train crosses the Venetian Lagoon. Arrive into Venice Santa Lucia Station for your onward travel arrangement.

Exclusions
~ air/rail travel to France/Italy;
~ visa arrangement, if required;
~ gratuities to the Belmond team and guides;
~ anything not specified in the itinerary and inclusion.
Important Notes
~ Non – refundable deposit, 30% is required at the time of booking.
~ Full or balance payment is 90 days prior to departure.
~ Only book your air ticket to Paris/Venice, France/Italy when you have been informed to do so.
~ Should you require a visa to enter France and Italy, it is your responsibility to obtain such document before departure. Check your entry requirement and apply for your visa HERE if you require.
~ Every effort is made to ensure the trip and included experiences take place during the ideal time or period of the year, however certain sights are subject to weather conditions and seasonal variations that are not within the control of Travel Wander and the Rail Operator. Although you may get to see and/or experience, we cannot guarantee the sightings.
~ Provision of meals during the trip showcases local authenticity, cuisine and food culture of the places we are visiting. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to Travel Wander at the time of booking. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible given the nature of the destinations visited and availability of options. We cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Travel Wander is not liable for failure to accommodate or fulfil such requests. Meal supplementary charges may be imposed to meet your dietary needs.
~ Our utmost priority is always the safety of the travellers. Therefore inclusion of the itinerary may be altered due (not limited) to bad weather, local conditions, accommodation book out and/or other unexpected circumstances beyond our control. No liability is assumed for delays, cancellations, or additional costs caused by natural disasters, policy changes, or other uncontrollable events. Itinerary order may be adjusted without reducing service quality. The Rail Operator reserve the right to make changes necessary and there will be no refund should you decide to discontinue with the trip.
~ Train schedules, routes, and stops are subject to final approval by railway authorities. Force majeure events (e.g., railway adjustments, accidents, or national policy changes) may alter the itinerary. The Rail Operator will notify travellers 7 days in advance for schedule changes or 5 days ahead for cancellations, without liability.
~ You may cancel/amend your trip booking by notifying Travel Wander through writing by text message or email.
Cancellation Fees:
More than 90 days before departure: loss of deposit
45 – 89 days before departure: 50% of total cost
30 –44 days before departure: 85% of total cost
Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost
