Rooming Policy
This page is designed to show you the various rooming categories and what it mean.
Single Occupancy
Rooms for travellers who do not wish to share rooms. Sometimes even if you are travelling in a group, you may still opt for a single room if you do not wish to share a room with anyone else. The choice is yours.
Twin/Double Occupancy
For a maximum of 2 persons in a room. Rooms are generally furnished with 2 single beds or 1 double bed. In some circumstances, some accommodations provide double-bedded rooms only.
Twin-Share Occupancy
For the individual traveller who do not mind sharing a room with someone of the same gender (of course!). In the event we are not able to find a suitable roommate, you will have to take up the single-room option. We will notify you about 2 weeks before the tour departure date. Hence please ensure you are comfortable paying the single rate before requesting this option. Rooms are generally furnished with 2 single beds. In some circumstances, some accommodations provide double-bedded rooms only.
Triple Occupancy
For a maximum of 3 travellers in a room. Room configuration is usually 1 double bed with an extra bed which is generally a roll-away bed or sofa bed. In some circumstances, there are 3 single beds with the 3rd bed usually a roll-away bed or sofa bed, or 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed.
Quadruple Occupancy
For maximum 4 travellers in a room. This option is not commonly found in the majority of the destinations. If there is, the room is generally furnished with 2 double beds or 2 bunk beds, shared by 4 persons.
Mass Shared Occupancy
For 5 travellers and more in a room. Usually, we refer to this type of rooming as a dormitory-style. Travellers may sleep on bunk beds or the ground with mattresses or sleeping beds provided. There are generally no partitions segregating different groups of travellers. Rooms may be gender separated but not guaranteed.
