Why Us
We believe in bringing like-minded travellers together, doing the things we love doing. Whilst doing so, it is important to make sure that the setting is small and intimate. Our trips are designed based on small group departures of not more than 20 people at any one time. This allows us to provide the best level of service and attention to our members, which is what they truly deserve.
The Wanderers
Meet Sheryl – a travel specialist with a knack for turning wanderlust into perfectly plotted active holidays (and a shameless love for mountains over mermaids, though she’ll grudgingly kayak if you promise a life vest).
By day, or more accurately, by night (this night owl hits peak productivity after sunset) – she’s a co-founder of Travel Wander, crafting bespoke escapes that get travellers out of their comfort zones and into meaningful connections with cultures and landscapes.
A former outdoor adventure junkie, (now leisure active holidaymaker) turned savvy entrepreneur, she blends three decades of tour planning and operations expertise with a mission to make travel transformative, sustainable, and downright irresistible.
Whether mentoring new talent or geeking out over itinerary details, her motto says it all: ‘The right time is now, the outdoors is always chic, and yes, you absolutely need this active vacation.’ (Just don’t ask her to function before 10am. 😂)

Meet Mabel – an outdoor enthusiast with a deep love for nature and wildlife.
With nearly 20(!) years in the travel industry, Mabel loves creating meaningful and active holiday experiences—especially in off-the-beaten-path destinations. She enjoys connecting travellers with local communities and believes in the power of responsible tourism to make a positive impact. As co-founder of Travel Wander, she works behind the scenes in operations, sales, and marketing to craft immersive, sustainable adventures that celebrate culture and nature.
Always eager to share her tour leading knowledge and experience, Mabel teaches at the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore when her schedule permits. She’s grateful to have received the Excellence Service Star Award (2009) and has had the opportunity to speak at Temasek Polytechnic and contribute to the NATAS Youth Committee.
When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her outdoors—whether dragon boating (despite a nervous respect for deep waters!) or trying her hand at just about any sport. Her love for nature drives her commitment to sustainable travel, and she hopes to protect the planet for future explorers.
